Are you interested in investigating innovative uses for the digital objects and other materials held in the Libraries? Then we invite you to take a look at the Libraries’ Collections as Data project.
Collections as Data aims to make data about libraries’ physical and digital collections available for new uses, including, processing, mining, visualizing, research, and computational analysis.
What kind of data can you access? Possibilities include:
- metadata for Williams theses
- library subject classifications
- text files
- metadata and digital objects for Special Collections materials
- publication dates
- usage date
- descriptive metadata
You can request data using the Request Data page on the project’s guide.
