Workshop 2/27: Post-Internet Rabbit Holes: Digital Collecting and Curation as Research

What, like, even really is “curation”? Or, like, a research practice that has organization and visual representation at the core of it, to maximize thoughts and connections. How is mood-boarding, the thematic collecting of disparate images and texts, a kind of research that can be harnessed for wackier, more rigorous, and loving engagement with the world of things and ideas?

This workshop uses Are.na, occasionally described as “a dating app for ideas”, “biblically accurate internet”, or “public storage for the intellectual, the absurd, and the eclectic”, to think more closely about curation, collection, organization, sharing as research phenomena.
