“For so long, gender-diverse and trans* representation has been constrained as a spectacle of curiosity” starts Hen Carnell ‘22.5 in their description for Trans* as Audience: Why Trans* Literature is Important. In their exhibit, now on view in Sawyer Library’s Lippmann Atrium, Carnell highlights “trans* writing available in Williams’ brick and mortar collections” that “move(s) beyond trope-ism.”
