Library Services: End of fall through start of spring semester

For the end of fall 2020 through the start of the spring semester in February, library services will be adjusted to best meet the needs of remote learning while accommodating users remaining on campus. During hours of operation, access to tangible materials from the library collection or ILL will be as follows:

  • On campus users:
    • libraries are open to current students, faculty and staff (swipe card access).
    • access to Special Collections by appointment
    • users may come in-person or may use the request/pick-up service (see non-contact services)
  • Off-campus users:
    • Sawyer and Schow materials: can be mailed to off-campus addresses. All materials will be due on May 25 2021. Users unable to return materials in-person are responsible for mailing materials back and all costs associated with that process. For chapters or sections of books, scans will be made and delivered electronically.
    • Interlibrary loan materials: can be mailed to off campus addresses. Due dates for ILL materials are set by the lending libraries. Extensions may be requested but are not guaranteed. Users unable to return materials in person by the due date are responsible for mailing materials back and all costs associated with that process.
