This year’s reading will take place inside Sawyer Library. On July 4th the Chapin Library and the Williamstown Theatre Festival will once again mark Independence Day with readings of the Declaration of Independence and other American documents. Sawyer Library, 1:30 p.m., admission free. Actors (Priscilla Lopez, Warner Miller, Thomas Sadoski, Babak Tafti) will read from the second floor outside balcony of Sawyer Library.
Additionally, all of the Chapin Library’s collection of the Founding Documents of the United States will be on view together with historic documents relating to the American women’s suffrage movement. Visit the Chapin Gallery between 12 and 1 p.m. or 2 and 3 p.m. on Level 4 of Sawyer Library (Room 406).
