Poster for boiling under

In this interactive* performance, Alexia Barandiaran ’19 and her cast explore the feeling of being a fraud, of not belonging, of failing and of the fear holding you back from succeeding. In a place where Imposter Syndrome and other mental issues are familiar, Barandiaran attempts to showcase what it is to feel trapped and isolated, how you can overcome it, and why it is essential to break the “effortless-perfection” facade rampant on campus.

Limited spots available. Please email [email protected] to reserve your spot.

A post-show discussion will occur directly after the performance in Schow 030B.

*Audience members will be encouraged to move around Schow library with performers.

Note that this performance is not fully physically accessible. Due to the nature of the library, stairs will be used. Some seats will be provided, but not for all guests.
