Looking Beyond Williams

"I have a citation for a book or article that isn't at Williams, but I really want to read it.  Am I out of luck?  Do I have to buy it?"

We have a great collection at Williams, but no library has everything.  Luckily, you can borrow from other libraries using Williams InterLibrary Loan.  Books are delivered to the Access Services Desk for you to pick up.  Shorter items like articles or book chapters will be scanned and e-mailed to you.  Either way, you will get an e-mail when your item arrives.

Delivery time can range from a few days to as much as two weeks, so be sure to plan ahead.  It's a real bummer when you find the perfect article for your paper, but the paper is due tomorrow and the article won't arrive until next week!
