Literary criticisms are published either as books (entire books or collections of essays) or as articles in scharly journals

Search for a particular book as a subject, for example:

MLA

The MLA International Bibliography indexes literary criticisms published as articles in scholarly journals or as essays in collections.
Search for Criticism as a Genre (choose GC/Genre Classification from the pull-down menu) and combine it with Dostoevsky. NOTE: In MLA, the subject heading for Dostoevsky uses the following spelling: Dostoevskii. You may also choose Primary Subject Author from the pull-down menu to get articles about Dostoevsky.

Reference Collection

The library subscribes to an extensive literary criticism collection housed in the Sawyer Reference collection. This collection includes reproductions of articles and essays originally published in journals. This provides access to materials otherwise not available. Materials related to Dostoevsky is available in Nineteenth-century literature criticism [Sawyer REF PN761 .N5] in volumes 2, 7, 21, 33, 43, 119, 167.
