Comparative Literature - Books

SEARCHING THE CATALOG:
When looking for books, start in FRANCIS, the library catalog.

  • To explore the collections: start by doing Keyword searches
  • To refine your searches:  click on the Library of Congress Subject Headings listed in a record for one of the item you selected

You may also start your search with a Subject Heading if you know it; for example, the subject heading Comparative Literature is not used in FRANCIS, instead you must use Literature, Comparative. The subject heading is further divided geographically, by genre and/or language:

Literature Comparative Themes and Motives
