Acquisitions Policy for Gifts, 2007-2012

Until the new Sawyer Library facility opens, the libraries will be unable to accept large gift donations.  There are two reasons for this temporary change in our standard policy.  First, the closing of Stetson Hall for renovation purposes means that we have no space to house gift collections for processing.  In addition, library staff is fully engaged in special projects to prepare Sawyer journal collections for their relocation to the new off-site library shelving facility. 

Individual donations (i.e. a small number of volumes) are still being accepted.  Please contact Robin Kibler, Interim Head of Collection Development and Acquisitions, to see if your donation fits into this category.
