Locating Prints, Hearings, and Reports in the Library

After you have searched Congressional Publications to identify a print, hearing, report, or other document, use the chart below to determine where it is located in the library.

Senate and House Published Hearings	1833-1969 22nd - 91st Congress	Available on CIS microfiche in cabinets S, T, U, and V; filed by group and then by CIS # (e.g. 81 H1264-4).
	1970-1986 91st - 99th Congress	Look in "boxed hearings" section of the government documents collection. Filed in this order: Congress (e.g. 94th Congress) Chamber (House or Senate) Committee Title of the Hearing
	1987-present 100th - current Congress	Use SuDoc number (e.g. Y4.IN8/16:IS7/4) to find in government documents collection.
House Unpublished Hearings	1833-1936 22nd - 74th Congress	Available on CIS microfiche in cabinet S drawer 1, filed by CIS # (e.g. 73 HJ-T.9)
