Commissioned by the British Library, The Eureka! Moment discusses 100 key scientific discoveries of the 20th century. Undeniably debatable, the topics were selected based on their importance as "discoveries" not mere "inventions." This book puts each discovery in context, explains its significance, and provides a citation to the document where it was first published. On display at the Schow Science Library are the original journal publications for some Eureka! moments.
