In honor of the 2008 Summer Olympics, this display provides an in depth presentation of a global phenomenon that has continued to unite people of different cultures for many generations. Since the time of the Greeks, the Olympic Games have allowed people to showcase their talent and athletic abilities, and one's passion for 'the game.' It is a celebration of international sportsmanship that has helped define and develop a global economy.
This year's Summer Olympics will be held in Beijing on August 8th-24th, 2008. For two weeks the world will have its eyes set on one city, eagerly awaiting the next gold medalist.
