Using Eph or Vending Cards

Getting A Card

Williams Students, Faculty, and Staff - Use your security-issued Eph Card (your college ID). To use the card to make photocopies, you must put money on it (see below).

Other Users - You may purchase a Vending Card from a dispenser in the Copy Room (Main Floor, Sawyer Library). The card costs 50 cents (quarters only) and may be used indefinitely. Cards are dispensed without value on them.

Putting Money On the Card

To make copies, you must put money on your card using a Cash-to-Card machine.  There are three machines on campus, located in the basement of Hopkins Hall, on the first floor of Paresky by the ATM, and at the south entrance to Mission Park

The Cash-to-Card machines accept $1, $5, $10, or $20 bills.  The cost per copy when using the card is 10 cents.  Cards will hold a maximum of $39.

If you experience any problems with the machines, notify Gary Phillips (x3150) immediately.

Departmental Cards

Departments may charge photocopy cards to their department accounts. Arrangements are made through Tina van Luling x4970 in the Security Department. In addition, faculty and their proxies may inquire about additional photocopy options at the Sawyer Access Services Desk and at the Schow Services Desk.
