Center for Development Economics

Center for Foreign Languages, Literatures and Cultures
holdings include foreign language dictionaries , language instructional materials,reference books -- also information on graduate study, study abroad, foreign travel and work opportunities -- the reading lounge contains current issues of newspapers and magazines in French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish

Chapin Library
located on the second floor of Stetson Hall, Chapin Library contains rare books, manuscripts, major author collections -- open from 10-12 and 1-5 during term

Hardy House
contains a substantial amount of literature relating to gender and sexual orientation issues, including the Paul Barstow collection on gay selfhood -- Hardy House contains office and meeting space for the Williams Feminist Alliance (WFA), Queer-StraightAlliance (QSA), Bisexual, Gay, Lesbian and Transgendered Union (BGLTU), Williams International Club (WIC), Students of Mixed Heritage (SOMH) and other Minority Coalition organizations.

Jenness House
located on Bank Street, the Jenness House contains the "Salem Samir Gafsi Memorial Library and the Mellon and McNair Resource Room and the Carlos Egan Book Collection. The Library and Resource room is equipped with a full multi-media system as well as 6 on-linecomputers for student use. The MCC also contains office and meeting space for Asian American Students in Action (AASIA), Chinese American Students Organization (CASO), Koreans of Williams (KOW), South Asian Student Association (SASA), and VISTA (Latina/o student organization). In addition, the MCC provides meeting space for all Minority Coalition organizations and the Williams Community Building Program (WCBP) participants"

Jewish Religious Center
houses a substantial collection of Jewish reference sources, journals, and books on general Judaica -- also Torah commentaries, Jewish and Israeli literature, as well as educational materials for learning Hebrew

Williams Visual Resources Center
located in Lawrence Hall -- the former Art Slide Library houses a collection of approximately 180,000 slides and additional visual resources (films, videos, CD-ROMs and photographs) for the purpose of providing images to supplement teaching and learning -- available to all Williams faculty and to Williams students with faculty supervision

1914 Memorial Library
this Library serves approximately 850 Financial Aid students who are entitled to borrow books from a 10,000 volume collection

Rice House
also the home of the Williams Black Student Union -- houses the Alana Haywood Memorial Library relating to African-American issues

Theatre (Adams Memorial Theatre 597-2342)
this collection houses about 3000 items -- includes many scripts and some historical materials -- not cataloged, honor sign-out for students
